MDA provides mobile clinic programs in the rural areas, particularly in the seven villages of Ruvu Basin. The main goal of this program is to deliver basic primary health care to thousands of the rural population who live in the rural areas that have little or no access to existing healthcare services. This mobile clinic is among the best equipped in the country and is currently used to transport critically ill patients to tertiary care hospitals, as well operating as a mobile clinic for rural areas. Each trip is properly equipped with medical testing and examination facilities which facilitate the delivery of effective and efficient medical care. Our mobile clinic program is designed to deliver children vaccinations, provide treatment for basic diseases such as Malaria, Diarrhea, fevers and care for persons living with HIV/AIDS. |
